Not only did Coinbase shares drop more than 15%, the entire crypto market took a hit too.

Then the next day Kraken announces they shut down staking for U.S users. And to settle their lawsuit with the SEC, Kraken paid a hefty $30m fine.

All staked cryptocurrencies except ETH will be automatically unstaked. ETH will be unstaked after the Shanghai upgrade in March.
