• November 2021: ETH surged to an all-time-high of $4,900 – EF sells 20,000 ETH the day after

Tiffany & Co. announces “NFTiff” 💍

Tiffany & Co’s first NFT collection is dropping on August 5.

NFTiff takes Tiffany’s luxury brand into web3. NFTiff is dropping 250 NFTs at a very  affordable price of 30 ETH.

AND it’s only for Punk holders 🥲

Tiffany & Co. designers will create customise pendants based on a holder’s CryptoPunk. Each piece will have a minimum of 30 gemstones and/or diamonds to create the highest fidelity possible of the original NFT art.

NFTiff is managed by Chain NFTs, a popular blockchain infrastructure company. And they’re just getting started. Yuga’s bringing physical utility to their BAYCs too!

Every brand new thing that hasn't been trialled or tested comes with a wave of criticism.Our take: it's a very positive signal that family name luxury brands are entering the NFT space & we're super excited to see more of it. This is exactly what we would expect from a bougie jeweller anyhow.

🚨 Metamask’s security update 🚨

Wallet draining mints have increased in frequency lately.

This happens when you connect to a malicious smart contract that gives them access to your wallet. When you sign, there’s a sneaky function called “Set Approval for All” granting permission to access everything in your wallet.

Confusingly, “Set Approval for All” is not normally all bad. For example, it is an essential function for OpenSea and other NFT marketplaces to interact with your wallet.

BUT, it’s VERY bad when you connect to malicious mint site. 

This is where Metamask’s update steps in. The latest update emphasises when a transaction is requesting “Set Approval for All” 🙌

Want more tips on how to protect yourself? Here’s a few hot tips:

1. Read the approval THOROUGHLY before signing.

2. Grab a hard wallets, like Ledger or Trezor and learn why it's valuable to invest in one.

3. Use a burner wallet to mint (a separate wallet with minimal funds enough to make the purchase and separate from the rest of your assets)

4. Distribute your assets and don’t keep them in a single wallet.

5. Avoid connecting your “cold wallet” to anything

6. Never mint with a wallet that has all your assets.

Let’s break it down

Stickmen Toys is a project by Warner and Bose, two of the biggest companies in the music industry. The collection offers its holders full IP rights to their NFTs and this is significant, especially so for Stickmen Toys!The apparels and gears that the Toys wear will be fully owned by the holder. Imagine owning a web3 product from brand like Bose. Yes please!! Holders will also be able to “forge” the items into physical products in the future! TLDR; A solid project by Warner and Bose with physical utility.

Superful offers tools including:

• Giveaways Management,

• Wallet Submissions, and

• NFT Verifications,

and it has an aesthetic interface with a smooth user experience.
