The stage is set for one of the most esteemed automotive manufacturers to take the centre stage at web3. The art...looks cool. The utility adequately ambiguous. The mint site is clean. 7,500 NFT collection. The mint price?

The team announces a mint price of 0.911. CT is outraged. Rightfully.

The team press on, allowlist mint in 4 phases ticks along. Hardly any of the allow list mints...

Public mint begins. CT is still outraged. Bernie is outraged too.

The memes begin...

Surprisingly, they pivot and cut supply and cap the collection to the 2,363 Porsches minted. Some freshly stocked whale wallets come in and snatch up up to 50 NFTs...Floor price TAKES OFF and as at the time of writing sits at 2.44 ETH.

Now this might all have read as Uncle Bernie being salty and having missed out on the public mint whilst watching the floor price pump. BUT this next bit really caught my eye...

In the first time we've seen it, Porsche has included a non-refundable clause in their T&Cs. It seems in European countries, it's quite common for laws to provide consumers with a 14-day cooling off period to refund/return as they please.

As part of ticking the boxes to mint the 911.JPEG, minters waive their rights to that refund. More details in the tweet from darkp0rt.

At face value @radoko and @fitz_lol appear to have been in the space for a while. Perhaps second cycle Crypto OGs or early NFT enthusiasts.

With a well-designed twitter profile which ticks most credibility boxes, the dynamic duo head out to build the trust of their hopeful, bullish and wide-eyed followers.

"GM!"

"Stealth mint now!!"

Wait what? What are we minting?

Turns out both accounts popped up at the end of December with BOUGHT followers and botting engagement for the 6+ rug projects they've created. Rugging multiple victims and repeatedly running away with funds over and over again.

ZachXBT said it best "Stop following, cotweeting, or replying to random NFT accounts just bc of their pfp, followers, and engagement."

I've said it once and I'll say it again, this space gives too much influence to BAYC and Azuki PFPs.
