A recent CoinDesk article reported that Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) and nine other roommates ran FTX exchange/Alameda Research from a luxury penthouse in the Bahamas.
And all 10 of them are or at some point have been romantically linked to each other.
Twitter had fun with this. Everyone started saying FTX is a sex cult who gambled away user funds while high on meth 😆

“The whole operation was run by a gang of kids in the Bahamas,” a person familiar with the matter told CoinDesk.
“Gary, Nishad and Sam control the code, the exchange’s matching engine and funds. If they moved them around or input their own numbers, I’m not sure who would have noticed”

It's been a rough year for NFL superstar Tom Brady. He's been on a losing streak, went through a highly public divorce, and now lost a majority of his net worth in the FTX collapse?!
Tom Brady and ex-wife Gisele Bündchen are rumored to have lost their entire $650m fortune.
In June 2021 they signed a deal with FTX that made Tom Brady an Ambassador and Gisele Bündchen an Environmemtal and Social Initiates Advisor. It also gave them equity in FTX.
They became the face for FTX and appeared in several ADs or TV commercials. Similar to how Matt Damon was the face of crypto.com— except he wasn’t as deep into web3 as Tom Brady.

I think it’s hard to believe they lost their *entire* combined net worth from FTX going bankrupt. But you never know 🙃

BlockFi has just announced they’re pausing withdrawals. Because of FTX/FTX US/Alameda they’re not able to operate as usual 😳
Rumors are also going around that Crypto.com and KuCoin had exposure to FTX and are in trouble. Though both CEO’s shut down the claims, calling it FUD.
I'm hearing from reliable sources that @cryptocom, @kucoincom, and several big OTC desks had huge exposure to FTX and are basically screwed
