Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg continues...

Threads.net, Blur v2, and DeLabs

GM Baos,

Everyone’s been taking advantage of the high-paced environment that is crypto 😎

Let’s see what different companies have been doing over the past week starting with…

  • IG Threads

  • Blur v2 launch

  • DeLabs new roadmap

Threads.net

Ever since Twitter introduced its rate-limiting function, which limited the number of posts users could see per day, a new contender called “Threads.net” has emerged on the scene 🤪

In just a matter of days, it has garnered millions of downloads and grabbed the attention of eager users looking for an alternative.

This app is tied closely to Instagram, so you'll need to create an IG account before you can link it to Threads. But don't worry, transferring your following is as simple as clicking a button (although you'll still need to download the Threads application from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store).

Threads is still in its early stages and not quite as polished as Twitter, but let's see how this new text-based social media app fares in the market.

Twitter's restrictions inadvertently created an opening for others to step in, and it seems like people are wasting no time exploring their options.

In other news - Twitter is threatening to sue Meta because of Threads. The base of the allegation is from Meta hiring ex-Twitter employees who still have access to company “trade secrets” that could be used against them.

Blur v2

Say goodbye to those absurd gas prices…

One of the major turn-offs of Blur, especially for buying NFTs, has been the crazy gas fees. But fear not, because the recent update shows that Blur is actively working to address this issue.

They have announced that with the release of Blur v2, gas prices will be slashed in half. Talk about optimization! If you had any bids left in Blur v1, make sure to place a rebid in v2.

But that's not all. Blur v2 introduces a new feature called "trait bidding."

Now, we aren't limited to bidding on entire collections anymore. We can filter and place bids based on specific traits we desire. Of course, the top traits from the most sought-after collections carry more weight and significance.

Taking all these factors into consideration, it's worth exploring whether we should solely focus on the "collection" floor price or opt for a more trait-specific approach.

DeLabs “old” Facebook

Guess what? DeLabs just dropped delabs.xyz… and doesn’t it give off some old-school Facebook vibes 😳

Feeling much older now huh?

Beyond the nostalgic feels, the page itself seems to be teasing us with their roadmap and plans for token holders and the brand as a whole.

Going deeper into the comments, they're dropping hints about the female DeGod avatars, which could take the spotlight during their Season 3 launch.

They're also teasing a logo change and the release of Dust Dao, where dust will be the governing token of the system. They claim to be fixing the fundamental flaws of current DAOs and revamping this specific DAO to truly address core issues.

If you're curious about their short-term roadmap, make sure to check out their "old Facebook" timeline complete with significant posts and comments.

Oh, and here's something we saw as well: they seem to be dropping hints about BTC. Maybe, just maybe, BTC DeGods???

You'll notice the BTC logo gracing their sponsored "raffle" AD and popping up under location and information.

It's definitely a clever way to keep us excited while being completely aligned with the goals and aspirations they have!

🚨‼️ There is a possibility that Multichain/Anyswap has been exploited again. All bridging transactions are currently halted, and we highly suggest that you disconnect your wallet from these platforms.
