    Right now eligibility is only open to those living in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK. But if you can snag one, you’ll be able to pay for things at more than 90 million locations where Mastercard is accepted.

    So, how do you get a membership? Stake their HI token.

    Nexo faces legal action

    Cryptocurrency lender Nexo has been sued by.. not one but EIGHT US states.

    The states include: New York, California, Kentucky, Maryland, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Washington and Vermont.

    One state that’s been particularly interested in Nexo is New York.

    A press release by NY Attorney General James says that entities offering securities or commodities have to register with the Office of the Attorney General (OAG), if they’re operating within the state.

    And she claims Nexo has been lying to investors about their registration status.

    “Cryptocurrency platforms are not exceptional; they must register to operate just like other investment platforms,”

    “Nexo violated the law and investors’ trust by falsely claiming that it is a licensed and registered platform. Nexo must stop its unlawful operations and take necessary action to protect its investors.” says Attorney General James.

    This is not the first time she’s pushed for regulation. AG James has been very vocal about the dangers of cryptocurrency! Especially when the markets starting making new lows in June 😬

    Considering Nexo just acquired stake in US Summit National Bank, I don’t think this is the end of them.

    Retail giant Walmart enters the Metaverse—on Roblox

    The largest retailer in the world launches two new digital experiences on the Metaverse mega-platform, Roblox. Walmart Land and Walmart’s Universe of Play.

    “Roblox is one of the fastest growing and largest platforms in the metaverse, and we know our customers are spending loads of time there. So, we’re focusing on creating new and innovative experiences that excite them” says William White, Walmart CMO.

    Walmart Land is a virtual experience filled with all things fashion, style, beauty and entertainment. Peep this obstacle course featuring popular beauty brands like Lottie London, af94 and UOMA 👀

    Then there’s Walmart’s Universe of Play.. they say this is where the toys are found. It’s supposed to be the ultimate virtual toy destination. Right on time for the holiday season and Christmas wishlists 🙃

    You can play various games trying to unlock cool virtual prizes. Though, the games are centered around characters from L.O.L. Surprise!, Jurassic World, Paw Patrol, Magic Mixies and Razor Scooters.. so yeah prBAObly not our age demographic!
