With every letter I write, a new entity or community ventures into NFT land. This time it’s the city of Miami.

They’re partnering with TIME USA (Time magazine publisher), Salesforce and Mastercard

Here’s what each party brings to the table

📰 TIME: Define the city’s NFT strategy & execute the project

📈 Salesforce: Manage NFT minting with its new NFT Cloud platform – not yet released, but will effectively allow brands to mint and sell NFTs

💳 Mastercard: Brings the U T I L I TY 🤑 NFT holders will get access to restaurants, private cultural tours in the city and more.

It’s clear Mayor Suarez openly welcomes crypto, and his policies have been a huge driver for Miami being a hot tech hub in the last few years. NFTs integrated into brands and cities are just getting started.

[ LEDGER ] Launches Marketplace & NFTs

Ledger is UP.

Not only are they your security bestie for crypto, they're now officially the cool kids on the block after launching their own NFT collection.

They sold their 10K Genesis Pass within 24 hours and trended on OpenSea at launch! Owners can redeem a limited edition Ledger Black-on-Black Nano X and will receive access to future drops.

Music Royalties coming in hot!

On Friday, July 22, NFT Music Platform - Royal - makes it’s first payouts to token holders totalling $36,000 USD 😱😱

Here’s how their payout breakdowns are looking:

  • Nas, Ultra Black: Monday, July 25 – $3,439.94 in royalties paid to fans

  • Nas, Rare: Tuesday, July 26 – $12,306.59 in royalties paid to fans

  • Verite, He’s Not You: Wednesday, July 27 – $586.48 in royalties paid to fans

  • 3LAU, Worst Case: Thursday, July 28 – $19,980.72 in royalties paid to fans
