Would you buy ETH NFTs from your SOL wallet?

Phantom goes multi-chain, Bitboy in the Bahamas, and SG’s DeFi trade

GM Baos,

We've missed hanging out with y'all, so we're hosting some Christmas events that you can attend in Vancouver, Sydney & Singapore. Sign up here to attend!

We cover:

  • Phantom wallet going multi-chain

  • The hunt for SBF 🌴🔎

  • Singapore's DBS DeFi trade

Phantom is adding support for ETH

Phantom announced they're adding support for both Ethereum and Polygon blockchains. Their intention is create a seamless experience across three of the largest ecosystems — a single wallet we can use for everything. No more hassle of switching from chain to chain.

What this means for NFTs...

  • You won't have to use two wallets for NFT marketplaces

  • The removal of spam NFTs & automated warnings about malicious transactions

  • Notification/transaction history for NFT bids, sales and listings

  • In-wallet discovery of new collections

  • The ability to view NFTs in your browser extension

"Phantom is bringing everything crypto users need in one place while also providing best-in-class security. That's what makes it unlike any other crypto wallet," said Brandon Millman, CEO, and co-founder of Phantom

"In the same way we don't use different web browsers for different types of websites, the crypto community needs a wallet that can seamlessly access different blockchains, regardless of what device they're using".

A big reason why so many people leave funds on centralized exchanges (CEXs) is because of the learning curve that comes with DeFi. Phantom making self-custodial wallets accessible, could be what we need to see another push for mainstream adoption. What are your thoughts?

The hunt for SBF 🔎

Bitboy Crypto arrived in the Bahamas on Saturday...

He tweeted that neither him or his company had $1 in FTX, he's just there because "no one has been willing to represent the people and confront Sam". Police are looking into SBF, but it's interesting how the Tornado Cash developer was sent to jail and SBF is currently walking free in the Bahamas 🤔

TLDR of BitBoy's search

  • He flies to the Bahamas trying to find SBF & get him tell his side of the story

  • Bitboy's wife let him go to the Bahamas but didn't really want him to

  • Multiple public attempts (tweets) to get SBF to unblock him

  • Kicked out by security

  • Posts a picture next to a Toyota Corolla he believes is SBF's

  • Livestream walking around the Bahamas

After days of Bitboy trying to contact SBF, some progress was made. SBF texted him back   finally. And now we await that Twitter Space 🫡

The first Asian bank to use Onyx network 🇸🇬

Singapore‘s largest bank DBS became the first Asian bank to use the Onyx network to complete a trade. They completed an intraday repo trade within hours — settlements  usually take up to two days.

J.P. Mogan's Onyx Digital Assets Network was created in 2020 as the first blockchain- based Intraday Repo solution that enables secured intraday financing through the exchange of cash for tokenized collateral.
