$10m stolen from crypto OGs

A thread by @tayvano_ went viral on CT after explaining that over 5,000 ETH or $10.5m has been stolen since December in attacks targeting crypto OGs (not noobs).

These attacks were sophisticated, as the only wallets affected were created from 2014-2022. And nobody has figured out how this happened yet 😬

MetaMask later clarified a claim made in the thread that ETH was stolen as a result of a MetaMask exploit, "Data shows 5,000 ETH was stolen from various addresses across 11 blockchains".

They said their security team is currently researching the issue.

Razer's Web3 incubator

Gaming hardware company Razer introduced a Web3 incubator to support the blockchain gaming sector. zVentures plans to support game developers that prioritize game quality.

"Many blockchain games on the market today focus primarily on utilizing blockchain technology rather than creating an engaging and enjoyable gameplay experience, resulting in a lack of player interest and retention".

Companies who are selected by zVentures will also have access to Razer's marketing and network of partnerships.
