Magic Eden just announced that they are the FIRST audited Bitcoin marketplace. Why Bitcoin? They say it's because innovation is an integral part of the foundation they're built on. "It reminds us of our early days on Solana, of finding something really special and growing an ecosystem alongside creators and collectors."

The trading experience is supposed to be the same as on another chain like SOL, ETH, and Polygon. In the future, Magic Eden hopes to support the ability to mint or inscribe an NFT on the Bitcoin blockchain.

SushiSwap subpoenaed by the SEC 🍣

Crypto businesses might soon distance themselves even more from the U.S. 😳

It was revealed in a proposal submitted to the Sushi DAO, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) served SushiSwap with a subpoena — but they can't reveal many details.

SushiSwap’s Head Chef Jared, proposed a $3m USDT legal defense fund to the DAO. Interestingly, there is also a contingency which says if funds are used up, the DAO will make an additional $1m USDT available.

Based on the current total votes, it looks like this proposal will pass.

Bitcoin to $1m by June 17th

Bitcoin is predicted to reach $1m in under 90 days 🥴. In a bet sparked by a tweet on hyperinflation, Balaji Srinivasan (former Coinbase CTO) has bet beeeg that Bitcoin will reach $1m by June.

What's at stake? If Bitcoin hits $1m or more, Srinivasan will receive $1m USDC and 1 BTC collateral. If Bitcoin stays below $1m, Medlock will receive $1m USDC and 1 BTC collateral.

$30k-$40k EOY seems reasonable, but not so sure about $1m. Would you take a bet with ~40:1 odds? 😱
